Canadia Bank, a long-established and leading commercial bank in Cambodia, has recently won the Cambodia Technology Excellence Award in Digital Banking in the prestigious Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2023 by Asian Business Review, a reputable financial and business magazine in Asia. This award recognizes the digital transformation initiatives of Canadia Bank in using innovation and technology application to bring the best-in-class products and services to its customers.
Canadia Bank has been in the Kingdom’s financial market for more than 32 years and is always a beacon of stability, reliability, and banking excellence. To adapt to the constantly changing local and global financial landscape and needs of the customers, the Bank’s digital transformation journey picked up its pace in 2020 and have been in full swing since 2022. Center to Canadia Bank’s digital transformation efforts are the launch of its new mobile app, expansion of Smart Bank Centers, and the creation of complete digital ecosystem for businesses.
To better serve the customers, the Canadia Bank App was publicly-launched in February 2023 providing fast, easy, and secured banking services with just a few clicks. In addition, Canadia Bank has also expanded its footprint and enhanced the customer experiences with the opening of Smart Bank Centers, which are digital hubs offering full-banking services and are equipped with the latest self-service devices and cutting-edge technology. From October 2022, seven new branches were opened in Saen Sokh, AEON Mean Chey, IFL, Steung Meanchey, Chenla, Smart Banking Head Office, Khan Pur Senchey, and more in the pipeline.
For business owners and corporate customers, Canadia Bank also enhanced its Corporate Internet Banking, launched the new Merchant App, and offered various payment gateway solutions that allow SMEs, Merchants, and Corporate customers to streamline their internal operations and run their business more efficiently.
