Canadia Bank and PassApp Technologies Sign Strategic Partnership to Advance Cashless Transactions for Drivers and Riders

Phnom Penh, Cambodia — Canadia Bank, Cambodia’s largest locally-owned commercial bank, and PassApp Technologies, a leading ride-hailing and digital mobility platform in the Kingdom, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand digital payment accessibility and accelerate the adoption of cashless transactions for PassApp drivers and passengers nationwide.

This strategic partnership brings together two trusted Cambodian brands with a shared goal of delivering more secure, convenient, and customer-focused digital payment solutions. Through this collaboration, Canadia Bank will provide PassApp driver-partners with seamless top-up services and faster fund transfer capabilities from their PassApp digital wallets, supported by integration with the newly-enhanced Canadia Bank App. The new mobile banking app is redesigned to deliver a refreshed, intuitive, and modern digital banking experience, with secured features that simplify everyday account management.

Passengers will also benefit from this partnership through improved payment convenience. With the integration of Canadia Bank’s payment gateway directly into the PassApp Technologies platform, passengers will be able to securely save their debit and credit cards, and soon link their Canadia Bank accounts, enabling automated ride-fee deductions for a smoother and fully cashless experience.  In addition, passengers can look forward to Canadia Bank App’s newest feature, CanaPoints, which allows users to earn points from transactions and redeem them for exclusive merchant offers, mobile phone top-ups, and more. Together with upcoming exclusive campaigns and promotions from both companies, this collaboration will make every journey even more rewarding.
