JOB SUMMARY

Provide excellent customer services and sell bank products to customers to provide best customer experiences and at the same time achieve department targets.

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide superior and consistent advice and service to customers either by telephone or face-to-face with the following protocol at all times.
  • Responsible for cash management and movements of cash in and out of the strongroom and the vault(s) in the strongroom according to the Bank Operation manual and procedure.
  • Receives and dispenses cash from/to teller and senior teller.
  • Checks, verifies, and/or reconciles the cash balance against the system of each teller and senior teller during lunch time and at the end of the day.
  • Consolidates all cash balances from each teller and senior teller against the core banking system carefully and accurately prior to sending back to the strong room in accordance with the bank operation manual. 
  • Input all transactions into the T24 system promptly and accurately and in compliance with bank operation manuals and procedures.
  • Ensure his transactions are efficiently and accurately executed. Assist others where necessary. 
  • Work as a team with other staff to provide excellent customer service to customers and to increase product holding of customers.
  • Build and maintain an effective network, focusing on sourcing and retaining all kinds of customers in a proactive manner.
  • Create and maintain an environment that promotes an easy and friendly experience for customers through a highly professional service level.
  • Ensure strictly adhere to the bank's rules, regulations, policies, procedures, manual, working guidelines, and instructions.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the bank's objectives and goals.
  • Support sales initiatives of the BM and DBM.
  • Cover duty of other staff when necessary as assigned.
  • Any other task as assigned.
  • Code of Conduct: Must strictly adhere to the bank's code of conduct, guidelines, and human resources policies and procedures to ensure the professionalism of the bank; take immediate action to stop and report to superiors, senior management, and internal control of any violations or misconducts.

QUALIFICATION

  • University Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years working experience in Operations section.
  • Must be fluent in English and Chinese.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy critical.
  • Pleasant and friendly personality.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Computer literacy, in particular, Microsoft Word and Excel.
