POSITION DESCRIPTION
Review and verify loan applications submitted by the Vehicle Financing Business Department, branches, and the Consumer Unsecured Lending Team to ensure information is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable loan policies, then recommend applications for approval or rejection.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure all information entered into the Loan Origination System (LOS) is accurate, complete, and compliant with the Vehicle Loan Policy.
- Review loan applications to ensure all supporting forms comply with the Vehicle Loan Policy and Staff Personal Loan for Apple Products (Falcon) Policy.
- Verify that loan application information is accurate, complete, and supported by the required documentation.
- Confirm that all supporting documents are sufficient and reliable to validate the information provided in the loan application.
- Conduct assessments with applicants, business units (BU), and third parties when additional information or clarification is required.
- Prepare loan assessment results and recommendations in the LOS for loan approval or rejection.
- Ensure all approved loans comply with the Bank's risk management requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to underwriters based on their assigned roles and responsibilities.
- Support the Vehicle Financing Business Department in achieving departmental business targets.
- Maintain effective working relationships with customers, staff, business units, and relevant external authorities.
- Ensure all assigned tasks and processes comply with internal policies and procedures.
- Act on behalf of the Manager and other officers during their absence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Credit Analyst, Loan Officer, or in a related credit review role.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation abilities.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to compliance and confidentiality.
