POSITION DESCRIPTION
Comprise SWIFT knowledge in regard to Outward and Inward Telegraphic Transfer, checking Inward SWIFT messages to ensure the conformity of bank procedure and compliance, modifying daily SWIFT transactions/inquiries, and follow the compliance rules. In addition, providing the response to the inquiry of Inward and Outward remittance payment and preparing the remittance business reports as assigned by Line Manager/Head of Department.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- As SWIFT Modifier—to modify Outward Telegraphic Transfer (OTT) Transactions and other MTS in SWIFT system accurately by following compliance rules, regulations, and the bank's internal policies and in accordance with SWIFT Manual and Procedure.
- Verify Nostro Account statement from Correspondent Bank to ensure the ITT transaction fund has been credited to our account before handling the SWIFT messages and relevant documents to respective channel.
- Verify Beneficiary Account Name and Account Number for ITT transaction to ensure the information in SWIFT messages are matched with information in T24 system before handling SWIFT messages and relevant documents to the respective channel.
- Support branches regarding to SWIFT/ MoneyGram/ EMQ related inquiries and issues.
- Provide an effective response to OTT & ITT transaction inquiries.
- Record and Control on OTT & ITT transaction problems.
- Assist to prepare and Consolidate Business Reporting for Inward & Outward Remittance transactions.
- Update Basic Tracker CSV in SWIFT System in a timely manner.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Manager or Head of Department.
- Other duties as required to ensure the operational effectiveness of the Financial Institutions Group.
- Strictly comply with instructions related to security and confidentiality.
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in SWIFT operations is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
- Good understanding of the SWIFT operations processing in relation to the Outward and Inward Telegraphic Transfer.
- Multi-tasking, strong organizational skills, detail and result-oriented.
- Dynamic, good interpersonal skills, fast learning, desire to help people, and positive attitude.
- Good command of English communications for both written and verbal.
- Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge in Chinese (Mandarin) will be a plus.
- Working hours: 10:00am — 7:00pm (Mon — Fri), 8:00am — 12:00pm (Sat).
