POSITION DESCRIPTION
The primary objective of this role is to support Occupational Health Manager in providing emergency care to staff in the event of accidents or occupational illness or sickness during working hours and monitoring first aid and infirmary management, and also to promote safety and a healthy working environment. A Senior Occupational Health Officer may need to stand by for providing administration support when it is required.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
First Aid Monitoring (Head Office & Branches)
- Making a list of basic medicines and first aid equipment and requesting procurement when necessary.
- Ensure all first aid boxes are properly stocked and medicines are stored correctly.
- Prepare and control the first aid budget for Head Office.
Benefits & Allowances Support
- Support medical allowance requests accurately and on time.
- Guide employees to avoid errors and delays.
- Coordinate with Benefits and Security Teams for claim cases.
- Support staff on long sick leave with guidance and advice.
- Assist with NSSF benefits and claims and sharing updated guidelines.
Infirmary Management
- Maintain the inventory of the medicines and other medical equipment required in the infirmary.
- Ensure there are enough facilities for patients.
- Maintain sanitation and comfortable environment in infirmary.
Collaboration with panel clinics and hospitals
- To call for an ambulance to get the patient to the hospital in case the patient's condition is not good.
- Coordinate with patient to hospital for emergency case.
- Monitor health checkup results with panel clinic, in case normal or abnormal.
Promote Safety and Healthy Working Environment
- Promote and maintain hygiene and welfare working place.
- Update Health news or share health information with staff.
- Assess the safety standard in the bank and prevent hazardous conditions for employees.
Other Tasks
- To support on the Covid-19 cases, verify on contact tracing, give advice for the treatment and proceed other necessary preventive measure as required Visit staff who got inpatient treatment if required.
- Work closely with part-time doctor to maintain a welfare working environment.
- Record medical history for employee suffering from medical condition.
- Be able to produce the operation reports on a monthly basis and when needed.
- Provide emergency care in Bank's events, such as annual workshop, team building, etc.
- Other any tasks will be assigned from time to time by Direct Line Manager.
QUALIFICATION
- Experience in occupational health is a plus.
- Well-understanding of occupational health profession and being able to provide proper consultation is an advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork, and attention to details.
- Good computer literacy (Ms. Office), Internet and Email.
- Good at English speaking and writing.
