POSITION DESCRIPTION

As Senior IT Network & Technical Officer, he/she is responsible for managing various phases of daily IT tasks as assigned by the Line Manager. They act as the IT representative for endpoint requests initiated by users and oversee the installation and maintenance of endpoint systems. This role involves working with a variety of software (such as Windows, Microsoft Office, e-mail, network access control, endpoint detection and response, isolated browsers, and remote access VPNs) and hardware (including laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, scanners, projectors, copiers, network devices, and cabling) to ensure everything is functioning properly.

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Understanding of receiving requests from users of IT endpoint requests and reviewing them for management approval.
  • Try to understand and troubleshoot IT endpoints to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
  • Try to assist with endpoint devices (Windows, laptop, desktop, monitor, software, etc.) and other hardware in HQ and branches, also for new opening branches.
  • Ensure PCs follow the hardening baseline and are implemented.
  • Ensure and support software and security tool installation.
  • Make sure all equipment in repair with outsourcing is properly controlled between both parties.
  • Support and maintain the Swift Center PC operators and related hardware
  • Assist the IT endpoints support supervisor in documenting and procedure to supplement the IT endpoint process and procedure to ensure efficient and fair standard practices in the bank.
  • Supporting and incorporating the day-to-day performance of team jobs.
  • Providing support for any project reporting to the direct manager.
  • Supporting and managing the Swift Operation Center.
  • Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the bank, and carry out duties with high integrity.
  • Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate, and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work.
  • Holding and managing the local administrator for each computer bank-wide.

QUALIFICATION

  • University graduate, preferably with a major in Computer Science related subjects or equivalent; or preferably over 3 years of experience in IT in a sector covered by the following:
  • A fresh graduate or diploma is often a minimum requirement for an IT endpoint technician job. However, some employers may prefer a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
  • Technical skills can include knowledge of electrical systems, computer software, and data communication protocols.
  • Knowledge endpoint software and Microsoft Outlook email setup.
  • Windows and Mac OS setup of endpoint security understanding.
  • Laptop/desktop setup and repairing experience is preferred.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (English and Khmer).
  • Strong people skills.
  • Self-motivated and good problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to travel in place (Phnom Penh/Province) when and where the work is assigned.
