POSITION DESCRIPTION
The selected candidate will be reporting to IT Security Senior Manager/ Supervisor and responsible for ongoing review, develop, update over the IT Security SOPs and improve cybersecurity posture. He/she will also work closely with IT and Security teams to implement comprehensive control measures of the identify and address any gaps or risks within CANADIA Bank's environment, including its data and information systems.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist in the development and maintenance of IT security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Review, assess of existing security controls and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of security initiatives with business objectives.
- Assess and monitor cybersecurity posture and security best practices within bank environment.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and maintaining cyber security awareness posture of IT security policy, industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security-related system/ solution under IT security governance.
- Supporting and providing required documents for any audit activities.
- Handle others tasks assigned by Line management or Head of Department.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree of IT, Computer Science, or other related fields.
- At least 1 to 3 Years in Computer Science or IT Engineering related subjects or equivalent.
- Knowledge of IT security concept, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and security governance.
- Basic understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT is a plus.
