JOB SUMMARY
Senior Manager, IT Operations, to play a key role in leading and overseeing our IT operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our IT systems and applications, maintaining optimal performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, as well as leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects that support our company's strategic goals. Senior Manager, IT Operations, will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic vision to ensure our IT operation effectively supports business needs.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Work with stakeholders to identify and implement new applications and technologies to improve business processes.
- Manage the application lifecycle, including deployment, maintenance, and support for all business-critical applications.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure IT operations align with strategic objectives.
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects on time and within budget.
- Manage project stakeholders, including internal departments and external vendors.
- Communicate project status updates to key stakeholders.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
- Develop a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the bank's overall business goals.
- Proactively monitor system performance, identify and troubleshoot IT issues, and implement timely resolutions.
- Develop, implement, and manage IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure primary IT performance and security.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on IT operations metrics and performance to leadership.
- Monitor system performance, identify and troubleshoot IT issues, and implement solutions to maintain uptime and system availability.
- Lead the IT support team in providing prompt and efficient technical support to internal users.
- Manage and lead the IT operations team, providing direction and ensuring efficient and effective work practices.
- Managing subordinate staffs in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Working with the security teams, implement appropriate tools to support the information security management policy.
- Lead a team of IT professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the IT team.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Providing support for any projects and reporting to the head of IT operations.
- Supporting and providing the required information for any audit and compliance activities.
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the bank, and carry out duties with high integrity.
- Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate, and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (a master's degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in IT management.
- A proven track record of leading and motivating IT teams in a high-performance environment.
- A proven track record of successfully managing and delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of IT operations and cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in IT ticketing systems and monitoring tools.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
