POSITION DESCRIPTION
Senior Officer, IT Application & DevOps is responsible for design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions within the banking and financial services environment. This role bridges software development, infrastructure management, and enterprise architecture, ensuring that all solutions align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. He / She involves in SDLC by implementing, managing and maintains automation tools and practices to ensure seamless CI/CD.
He/She involves in collaborating with development team, IT Operation team, IT Security team, and other teams to ensure seamless delivery of technology solutions that support digital banking initiatives and operational efficiency.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
DevOps & Infrastructure Management
- Evaluate, select, develop, and implement DevOps strategies, best practices, and tooling to improve software development and deployment processes.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity across all DevOps tools/platforms.
- Maintain and implement containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code integration, testing, and deployment.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability.
Solution Architecture
- Develop and maintain DevOps Architecture documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud, on-premises, or hybrid architecture solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-efficient technology designs.
Collaboration
- Coordinate, collaborate, and continuously improve across development, operations, and other teams to align with organizational goals, infrastructure and deployment strategies.
- Mentor and guide team members in adopting DevOps best practices and tools.
Governance, Compliance, & Security
- Enforce security standards and compliance policies across all DevOps and architectural workflows.
- Support audits and risk assessments in collaboration with the IT Security team.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2—3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, DevOps, and solution architecture roles.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab Cl, Azure DevOps), IaC (Terraform, Ansible), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, etc).
- Strong expertise in DevOps tools and practices.
- Proficiency in the command line on Linux systems (e.g., Redhat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, containerization, and orchestration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of DevSecOps, microservices architecture, API management, event-driven systems, and cloud computing with AWS.
