POSITION DESCRIPTION

Senior Corporate Relationship Officer is a professional who identifies and/or assesses potential customers through collecting, analyzing, and developing appropriate information necessary for a loan. They are responsible for developing and maintaining a healthy portfolio by supporting group-related businesses as well as developing new business opportunities for the bank.

DUTY &RESPONSIBILITY

  • Identify new potential strategic customers and onboard them for corporate transactional banking. 
  • Grow the portfolio of corporate clients through building strong relationships with prospects and networking.
  • Assist in developing and implementing lending marketing plans and strategies as needed.
  • Participate in business associations and other events to promote the bank's business and reputation.
  • Collaborate with relevant business units, branches, or other departments to ensure business operations and services in order to enhance both existing and new customers’s satisfaction.
  • Cross-sell and promote bank products and services to both existing and potential corporate deposit customers.
  • Handles customer complaints; provides consultation and solutions.
  • Provide customers’ consultation and advice on a on a value-added bank solution.
  • Conduct surveys and keep up-to-date on the corporate lending product.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the line manager.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or related majors.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a financial institution.
  • Having bank products and services selling skills with corporate customers.
  • Must have good command in English, both written and verbal (Chinese is a plus).
  • Abilities to work independently and as a team in an effective and efficient manner, be able to work under pressure, and possess good time management skills.
  • Effective negotiation, high initiative, and high commitment. 
  • Strong leadership, people management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy includes Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
