POSITION DESCRIPTION
The selected candidate will be reporting to the IT Security Manager for an ongoing review, development, update, and improvement of the IT Security SOPs and cybersecurity posture. He or she will also work closely with the IT and security teams to implement comprehensive control measures to identify and address any gaps or risks within CANADIA Bank's environment, including its data and information systems.
DUTY &RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist in the development and maintenance of IT security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Review and assess existing security controls and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of security initiatives with business objectives.
- Keep improving on review and monitoring cybersecurity posture within CANADIA Bank.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of cyber security awareness through IT security policy, industry standards, and regulations.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security-related systems and solutions under IT security governance and reporting.
- Supporting end-user control over the owned system application under governance units.
- Day-to-day operation support on various IT security solutions, i.e., DLP and MDM, as assigned by the head of the IT security department.
- Handle other tasks assigned by line management.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or other related fields.
- At least 2 to 3 years in computer science or IT engineering-related subjects or equivalent.
- Knowledge of IT security concepts, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and security governance.
- Basic understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with industry-accepted standards and frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT is a plus.
- Experience in the IT Audit field is also a plus.
