POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Manager of IT Security Network and Infrastructure, this role will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of IT Security, Network and infrastructure management. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT Security and Infrastructure to contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of security measures to protect our bank's data and information systems.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist in implementing, monitoring network traffic for potential threats, and contribute to identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure, and participate in configuring security tools such as internal firewall and network access control.
- Monitor, detect and respond on threat activity from network security firewall, initial investigation, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation and reporting.
- Assist in developing and documenting IT security procedure, baseline, and collaborating to ensure adherence and compliance with established security policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns, project implementing, and communicate effectively with team members and management on security-related issues and initiatives.
- Keeping up to date with security advisory release related network devices, and initial recommendation to stakeholder to remediate and mitigate vulnerability in environment.
- Support any assigned task by Line Manager.
QUALIFICATION
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience or internship in a relevant IT field, with some exposure to IT security networking.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Khmer.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and develop skills in IT security.
- Understanding Basic of Networking such as Network devices, Network Protocol, and OSI model.
- Have knowledge of network firewall configurations and rule management.
- Understanding of encryption technologies and network hardening.
- Understanding with intrusion detection, prevention systems and Network Access Control.
- Certified or Complete any courses such as Security+, Network+, CC, CCNA Routing and Switching or other related courses would be a great advantage.
