POSITION DESCRIPTION

The incumbent will be strongly emphasizing aligning the product development and innovation that are leading to revenue generation and market expansion and driving the bank’s growth by ensuring the new products are commercially viable and competitive. The role will lead and bridge strategy with execution by unifying consumer, SME, and corporate banking business development.


DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide overall vision, strategy, and leadership direction for the entire department/division and feature definition of specific products.
  • Responsible for aligning product development with the bank's business objectives, managing the budget, and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Responsible for driving revenue growth through innovative and market-driven products.
  • Lead and conduct market research, competitive analysis, and business intelligence to identify market growth opportunities, target customer segments, and inform both product development and business development strategies.
  • Manage the overall product portfolio lifecycle to ensure a cohesive approach to both developing and selling and pricing products.
  • Define the product roadmap (payments/lending/deposit/card business/digital business/etc.), prioritizing initiatives based on strategic fit and ROI and revenue projections and continuously incorporating feedback from the business team and customers.
  • Work closely with business teams (corporate/SME/consumer/digital business/branch management team) to understand market needs and define product strategies that align with revenue goals.
  • Bridge the gap and understand the business needs identified by business teams and the technical requirements by closely collaborating with other related divisions, including Consumer/SME/Corporate/Digital.
  • Business/Card Services/IT/Legal Business and Compliance and Risk Management Division for product development.
  • Lead and gather and document business requirements, analyze data, and support the product and business managers in defining product features.
  • Provide data-driven insights on product performance, customer behavior, and market trends to inform product strategy and identify areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATION

  • Master’s degree in finance & economic development, business administration, marketing research, or any related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in banking product and business development, project management, and business strategic planning.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role, preferably within the banking and finance industry.
  • Deep understanding of banking and finance includes local and international market trends, competitors’s context, and customer behaviors.
