JOB SUMMARY

The position of Deputy Head of the Digital Division holds significant importance within the organization. This role not only ensures the seamless execution of operations and the attainment of strategic objectives but also plays a vital role in guaranteeing the long-term sustainability of the division, particularly in terms of succession planning. The position entails substantial involvement in leadership, strategy, and innovation within the digital team. It necessitates qualities such as maturity, flexibility, experience, and a resilient mindset to effectively guide and provide direction for the entire team.

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide strong leadership and create a sense of direction for the team.
  • Communicate expectations clearly and foster an inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Motivate and empower team members to achieve high performance.
  • Demonstrate and promote the bank's culture and values through actions and decisions.
  • Together with head division, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals.
  • Analyze internal and external environments to address risks and returns in strategic planning.
  • Make sound decisions by considering business challenges and stakeholder needs.
  • Manage change effectively and gain support from team members and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize persuasive and influencing skills to communicate key issues and gain support.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, expertise, and adherence to codes of conduct and ethics.
  • Foster staff development through feedback, coaching, and creating a learning environment.
  • Manage projects, meeting budgets and timeframes, and addressing obstacles.
  • Apply problem-solving skills by identifying root causes and exploring alternative solutions.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Digital Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years in either starting up a business or a project management role for large-scale, complex Digital/lT projects, preferable in the banking sector.
  • Experiences in technology research, study, innovation and exploitation is preferred.
  • Proficient in technology discovery, application and implementation.
  • Ability to master new technologies quickly and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Knowledgeable in different Operation Systems includes MS Windows, Mac and Linus family for innovation projects and project research.
  • Presentable, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, mature, independent with excellent decision-making.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Strong leadership skills and collaboration ability.
