POSITION DESCRIPTION
Accurately and efficiently perform, process, and record routine transactions for bank customers, including accepting deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, account or fund transfers, and other teller transactions, according to the branch operation manual. Promote and advise on the bank's products and services.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Onboard new potential customers and expand existing customers, both individual and corporate, to achieve the target.
- Promote and cross-sell the bank products and services among target customers as well as mobile banking, QR, POS, and debit/credit cards.
- On-site visit customers and coordinate with the team and relevant parties upon request from customers.
- Identify potential customers and understand their businesses to recommend appropriate products and services to customers and bring in a new deposit base.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers by providing a friendly banking experience as well as keeping customers satisfied.
- Process new account openings, account maintenance, and updating customer information and documents.
- Handle customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to customers.
- Prepare a daily plan and sales pipeline and submit it to the line manager for review.
- Ensure customer account opening documents comply with policy and procedure.
- Explore ideas, customer feedback, and suggestions for improvement and success.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Finance and Banking, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the banking sector preferred.
- Good negotiation and internal & external relationship-building skills.
- Strong customer service and result-oriented personality.
- Strong leadership skills, people management, and team-building skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy and English language proficiency (Chinese speakers will be prioritized).
- Proficient at producing and presenting reports.
