JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Analysis is responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to support the company's strategic decision-making process. This role involves the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from various sources to uncover meaningful trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and data needs, ensuring the development of relevant and impactful analytics.
- Design and implement robust data collection and storage strategies, ensuring data integrity, security, and governance.
- Perform complex data analysis, including the use of advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling, to derive insights that drive strategic initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and optimization, and provide data-backed recommendations to enhance business performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure the seamless integration and transformation of data from various sources.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in developing their data analysis and visualization skills.
- Contribute to the overall data strategy and governance framework to ensure alignment with the company's objectives.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
- Proficient in SQL and Python programming languages, with the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex data sets.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power Bl, or QIik, to effectively communicate insights.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into easily understandable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing business requirements.
