POSITION DESCRIPTION
Senior Officer, Investment Banking will assist the Head of InvestmentBanking in providing clients with financial advice/solutions regarding capitalraising, either through equity or debt, or private or public capital markets.To this end, he/she will need to work on collecting data and informationrelated to the client company, its peers, or the economy as inputs foranalysis, financial modeling, and valuation. The senior officer may also assistCFO in preparing reports or conduct research on banking besides capital market.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Conduct research, due diligence, and valuation of client companies.
- Work with the department head to offer financial advice toclients on equity and debt financing through private and public capitalmarkets.
- Assist with corporate restructuring and mergers andacquisitions.
- Manage and maintain relationships with clients and investors.
- Prepare reports/presentations for upper management, clients, and/orinvestors.
- Assist the CFO in preparing reports or conducting research onbanking besides the capital market.
- Other tasks as assigned by the department head or CFO.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance, business administration, or similarfield
- Experience in the corporate finance industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, in relation to valuation,modeling, and forecasting
- Solid grasp of current market developments.
- Outstanding communication ability (written and oral).
- Strong work ethic and professionalism.
- Ability to work under pressure.
