POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for supporting the Head of Corporate Banking Division in managing all businesses in the Corporate Banking Division, which include corporate lending and trade business, and also actively participating in the development, organization, and implementation of bank strategies to grow corporate loan portfolios as well as customer bases, reviewing loan applications, ensuring they're in compliance with bank credit policies, promoting for more business opportunities, and cross-selling with customers.
Works closely with the Head of Corporate Banking Division and other related departments to support the team and branches and ensure the retention of profitable relationships.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Maximize the corporate banking division's revenue stream.
- Develop, organize, and implement a corporate sale plan to meet bank strategies.
- Budgets and plans on financials and direction to achieve the bank's objectives.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Engage and coordinate with all relevant departments and divisions to win the deals.
- Build up deeper bank relationships and trust to maintain existing customers.
- Promote corporate products and services to all existing and potential customers.
- Identify potential customers and approach them for new business opportunities.
- Provides clear leadership and direction and oversees the strategic orientation and achievement of the team.
- Drive the corporate relationship team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Oversee, monitor, and evaluate individual as well as team performance as set.
- Provide feedback, support, and coaching to the corporate relationship team.
- Analyze customer loan applications and provide recommendations for decisions.
- Ensure that bank policies and procedures are communicated and implemented within the team. Provide customers' consultation and advice on a value-added bank solution; support daily trade operations.
- Support reviewing loan applications and promoting more cross-selling with customers.
- Support control over the implementation of memo covenants imposed on the business side.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Head of Corporate Banking.
Code of Conduct: Must strictly adhere to the bank's code of conduct, guidelines, and human resources policies and procedures to ensure the professionalism of the bank; take immediate action to stop and report to superiors, senior management, and internal control any violations or misconducts.
