POSITION DESCRIPTION
Deputy Head Investment Banking will assist in discovering and analyzing potential client companies, and offering them pertinent and attractive financial advice regarding investment advisory and capital raising through either equity or debt, private or public capital market. Once a deal is successfully concluded, he/she will assist the client in raising capital via private capital market by recruiting private investors, or via public capital market through underwriting procedures. In this regards, he/she will also be responsible for the Corporate Finance works at Canadia Securities, a wholly owned subsidiary ofCanadia Bank, in which he/she will be responsible for identifying and securing merger and acquisition deals, manage private and public listing works, and other advisory works.
DUTY &RESPONSIBILITY
- Conduct in-depth research, due diligence and valuation of client and assist them to list on CSX.
- Provide Investment advice, tactics and recommendation.
- Liaise with all parties involved in transactions and assist with negotiations.
- Assess and predict financial risks and returns.
- Offer financial advice to clients on debt and equity financing through private and public capital market.
- Assist with corporate restructuring and merger and acquisitions.
- Recruit clients and investors, develop, and manage relationship with them.
- Prepare and give reports/presentations for clients/investors and upper management.
- Other tasks assigned by line manager.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor/master degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar field (CFA is a plus).
- Minimum 3-5 years experiences in corporate finance through private and public capital market.
- Strong grasp of current market developments.
- Outstanding work ethic and professionalism.
- Ability to work under pressure.
