JOB SUMMARY

The Manager, Card Strategies is responsible for developing and executing the company's card-based product and service strategies. This role involves overseeing the performance and growth of both the issuing and acquiring businesses, with a particular focus on the credit and debit card segments. The Manager will work closely with the Head of Digital Strategies to ensure the card portfolio remains competitive and aligned with market trends and customer needs.

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Develop and implement comprehensive card strategies to drive the growth of the company's card-based offerings.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of issuing and acquiring businesses, and recommend strategic initiatives to enhance profitability and market share.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and technological advancements, and propose innovative solutions to address evolving customer needs.
  • Liaise with card scheme providers to negotiate favorable terms, ensure compliance, and explore collaborative opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operational and support teams to identify and address pain points, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of new card-based initiatives to drive customer engagement and retention.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the card payment industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the card payment ecosystem, including issuers, acquirers, card schemes, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful card strategies, including product development, pricing, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Proficient in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and drive successful execution.
